artist’s statement
“I am a self taught visual artist. Painting is a spiritual journey for me wherein each of my artwork reflects my love and passion. I love to work with oil and acrylic paints. I like to paint Tuscan paintings that includes streets, landscapes and buildings. Most of my work includes palette knife techniques as I love using it a lot in my paintings. I am also experimenting with acrylics and pastels, and working on a collection of abstract paintings.
As a member of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, I was a board member for a year and helped them in organizing art exhibitions at the Frisco Discovery Center. I also participated in two juried art shows of VAGF (“Fresh Start” Jan 2016, and “Artrageous” Apr 2016). My work has been accepted in the juried art show( “Botanicals” Apr 2016) organized by Gallery 8680 located in Frisco.
I like to stay involved with our community, spreading peace and love through arts and encouraging people to appreciate it. I lead a program “Share our Hearts” through Frisco Women’s League, where we made valentines cards for senior living locations in Frisco. As a member of McKinney Arts & Music guild and McKinney arts club, I have participated in their art shows as well.

The vast majority of my work is very colorful as I believe that  colors bring joy to life, and they have the power to fill life with beauty, love, and peace.”
