Spring has sprung, and the art fun has begun….


Arts in the Square


Arts in the Square is back in Frisco Square for the 5th year — and it’s bigger and better than ever!  The square will be packed with local and regional artists all day Saturday and Sunday from11am-7pm.  There’s lots of parking, and the event is free.  The weather will be fantastic, so come take a stroll!  March 29 & 30. “two girls and their art” opens at thegallery8680 this weekend, featuring the work of Shon Te’ Renae and Marki Williams.  Their work promises to be “young, naïve, fresh and experimental.”  Friday, March 28, 2014 – 7pm @ thegallery8680, located at 8680 W. Main Street, Frisco 75033.

5oth Annual Collin County Art Show, presented by the Art Club of McKinney.  There is both an Adult and a Student show, located at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.  Awards for various categories. Deadline for submissions is April 1.  Details HERE.

Plano Art Association’s 125 show.   Open for artists within a 125-mile radius from Plano, Texas.  Multiple awards in various categories.  Deadline for entries is 4/4/14.  Click HERE for details.

The Arts and Music Guild‘s “Unique By Nature” Art Show in downtown McKinney.  Drop off/deadline is April 19.  Opening reception May 3.  Show runs through May 17.  Details HERE.
