Saturday, April 9, 2011 — McKinney Art Walk. Our neighbors over in McKinney have a good reputation of hosting fun art events around their downtown square. If you haven’t been there, it’s worth the trip. They have one of those old-fashioned, big county seat kind of squares, filled with antique stores, galleries, eateries, wineries, and boutiques. You could spend all day wandering thru the streets, and this Saturday would be a good one to do so. The square will be full of artists displaying their works, and some artists will be working right there on the streets. This is a free event, and is appropriate for the whole family. 10am – 6pm on Virginia, Tennessee, Louisiana and Kentucky Streets. Frisco artists Jeb Matulich, Melissa Winton, Helen Minkes and Misty Oliver Foster will be featured at this event.
